Aiming to teach critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and community leadership skills to youths impacted by the 1994 genocide. The first Dreamers Academy Camp occurred in 2013, initially with about 105 students and 20 volunteers. It has since grown into a 10-day intensive on debate, public speaking, leadership, and skills like coding, reaching over 900 students by its 10th edition in 2025. Early camps built on Rwanda's emerging debate culture to promote active citizenship.
